My name is Janet Mami Takayama.
I am a photographer, and a writer.
I was born in Tokyo, have traveled to more than 40 countries, and have lived on several continents.
I currently live in Chicago, IL , USA.
As a self-taught photographer, I love to photograph plants, landscapes, architecture, day to day city life, and people just being people.
These works have appeared in magazines, books, on the web, and in art shops, in both America and Japan.
I have written photo essays, web journals, and two books; both of them are available from select online vendors and bookstores throughout Japan.
